Over the weekend, Nigerian heavyweight boxer Raphael Akpejiori suffered a devastating first-round knockout loss to American Stephen Shaw at the Maryland Live Casino, Hanover.
It is Akpejiori's second loss in 20 professional fights, having suffered his first loss to Russia's Arslanbek Ruslanovich Makhmudov in 2023.
Akpejiori is married to ESPN's broadcaster and former basketball player Chiney Ogwumike.
