The Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police force,Ogun State Command, SP Omolola Odutola had been promoted to new rank of Chief Superintendent of Police,CSP.
Odutola disclosed this recently in a brief statement made available to Journalists.
The statement reads in full "Good evening, respected members of the press. I am pleased to announce that I have been officially promoted to the substantive rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP Omolola Odutola, anipr ), alongside my fellow course-mates, the silver liners. Congratulations to each and every one of them.
"I am truly grateful for this advancement, as it is solely by grace that I have reached this point.
"There could not be a more fitting time than the end of the year to enjoy and appreciate this moment of happiness. So much can happen within a year.
"I genuinely celebrate those who have reached out to me to share in this joy.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force for their swift actions and significant progress in ensuring that deserving officers receive their promotions without delay.
"This new rank will inspire me more than ever to dedicate myself to the service of the people of Ogun State and Nigeria".
