God's might hands played out on Tuesday as what could have been an October tragedy was averted by divine providence as part of a storey building collapsed in Ijeja area of Abeokuta South LG of Ogun State.
The incident which occured few minutes after 4pm, moment after a brief rain in the afternoon, would have resulted into wailing and gnashing of teeth but for the God's doings and the rain that drove a fish frier and little kids near the house to take cover nearby against the rain..
Many of the neighbors and passers - by, joined to give thanks to God as no casualties were recorded.
Separately, two of the passers - by while sympathizing with the residents of the building said " Olorun seun o, Ogiri ki de de yalu eniyan, Aya fi ti o ni ba"( Glory be to God. Wall don't just fall on someone except there is more to it)
Some of the residents were later seen moving their belongings out of the collapsed building to another place.
