Key Into Abiodun's Educational Policies, Commissioner Chargers Private Schools' Proprietors

 




Ogun State Government has said that it has created conducive environment for private schools in the state to thrive and improve their standards of education for better impact of knowledge and education to their learners.


Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu, stated this at the 12th Anniversary and Graduation Ceremony of Lyceum schools, with the theme " Global Reach Within Local Realities" held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, Abeokuta.


Arigbabu, who was represented by the Zonal Education Officer, Abeokuta South Local Government, Mrs Mujidat Aigoro, said that the Dapo Abiodun led Administration had provided an enabling environment for school owners in the education sector to thrive.


He urged the management of Lyceum Schools and other private schools to tap into the state's ease of doing business environment by maintaining and improving upon the quality standards of education in the interest of the learners as well as meeting the expectation their parents and guardians on their schools.


"Once a Be rest assured that the the present administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will continue to provide enable environment for ease of doing business. However you are expected to reciprocate this gesture of the state government by contributing your own quotas in no little way to building our future agenda together in education"


"Obviously, the patronage enjoyed by this school is not unconnected to the quality and services provided by the Lyceum Foundation under the leadership of Mrs Ola-Williams, Head of School. This it is imperative that the Management maintains, sustains and upon the quality standard in the interest of Learners as well as meeting the aspirantions  of parents in giving their wards quality Education that is of international standard." he added


Head of Schools, Mrs Moureen Ola-Williams admonished parents and guardians to teach the children to be respectful to teachers and their elders in the society as well as having  good characters that would guide their paths to a better tomorrow.


"As parents we play a vital role reefforcing  and principles we aim to instill in our children. I urge us all to continue to grooming them to be respectful, empathetic and responsible members of our society, teach them to respect the rules and norms that govern the school and the society"
