The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ogun State Council has condemned the criminal abduction and brutality of the National President, Comrade Joe Ajaero.
Ajaero,who was maltreated, beaten and dispossessed of his personal belongings, experienced the ordeals during the proposed 1st of November,2023 Mega Protest/ Rally against inhuman, selfish, unfriendly, and illegitimate actions of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma in Owerri.
In a release signed by the State NLC chairman, Comr. Hammed Benco, made available to Journalists on Saturday, the congress described the actions as unfriendly and condemnable by the entire members of Ogun State.
The statement read further " This actions meted on the President of NLC is unfriendly, criminal and condemnable by the entire members of Ogun State Council.
"The leadership calling on President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to recall the Commissioner of Police in Imo State and put up a sincere In- dependable and scientific Panel to look into incident and bring the perpetrators to book so as to serve as deterrent to others.
" President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should declare Imo State as " a State of emergency " on security. The congress leadership is sympathizing with our President and wishing him quick and miraculous recovery from the ordeal to a good state of health ".
