A prominent politician and industrialist, Hon Johnson Olu - Fatoki has urged federal government to do more for local manufacturing companies in Nigeria so as to further enhance the ease of doing business and further generate employment for the youth.
Speaking during a courtesy visit of the National Standard Television,an online TV management Team, to the industrialist, in his factory at Lanfenwa- Ayetoro road, along rounder, Abeokuta on Tuesday, Hon. Olu- Fatoki urged the current administrations especially at the Federal to mandate agencies like Bank of Industry, BOI, Small and Medium Enterprises Scale Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN to make it easier for local industrialists to access loans from the organisations so as to further enable the growth and development of local productions of goods and services in the country.The CEO of Olu ventures Nigeria Limited,who bemoaned the bottlenecks attached to accessing loans from the agencies like BOI, identified grits
and determination as part of the qualities that have kept the Olu soap producing company going,despite the mounting challenges being experienced by local industrialists, He added that Federal Government agencies like Standard Organization of Nigeria, SON should not be out for tax generation alone but for greater value to manufacturing companies in Nigeria.
