OFFICIAL: Nigeria has officially withdrawn its bid from hosting AFCON 2025 to focus on AFCON 2027 after the withdrawal of Algeria.
Morocco and Zambia are the only candidate countries to be designated host country for the AFCON 2025.

"Nigeria is a good country, and with the way we are going, insecurity will be a thing of the past in a matter of months," Mr. Best said.
"Before 2027, I strongly believe there will be nothing like banditry anymore."
