Nigerian singer Ego, who was well-known as Lagbaja’s backup vocalist immediately after Yinka Davies, just lost her estranged husband, Victor Niyi Ogbaro.
The couple have been leaving apart for some time, and Ego, née Iheanacho, had removed Ogbaro from her surname.
Her husband, Niyi, used to be her manager after she stopped working with Lagbaja.
