EID-EL- ADHA: ABIODUN ASSURES PEOPLE OF BETTER DAYS IN OGUN STATE,CALLS FOR MORE PRAYERS

 




As Muslim Ummahs  celebrate eid- el- Adha through the world, Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has reassured  the good people of the state of better days just as he called on them  to intensify prayers .


Abiodun gave the assurance in his sallah message on Wednesday at the Lantoro Praying ground, Abeokuta , the state capital.

The Governor,who was represented by Senator Shuaib  Salisu enjoined people of the state to always pray for those in position of  leadership so as to serve as strength and guidance to them

The senator representing Ogun central senatorial district in the National Assembly, while expressing gratitude to people of the state for their support to Presidenti Bola Tinubu, Gov. Dspo Abiodun, himself and the Abeokuta South federal Constituency House of Representatives member, Hon. Moruf Afuape, and other APC elected office holders, enjoined the gathering never to lose hope in Allah and not to look elsewhere , adding that 'Allah that accepted Bola Tinubu as President against all odds, your challenges are insignificant compare to President Tinubu, Dapo Abiodun,, equally my self and my brother Hon. Afuape''

Sen. Shuaib Salisu who quoted conspicuously from the Holy Quran said" who can bring succour when there is problem? Who can relief you problem to prosperity? ' It is only Allah"

"We came  this morning in a  symbolic representation of Prophet Ibrahim when he was about to sacrifice his son to Allah, the renewed hope Agenda started with  Ibrahim and we are all beneficiary of that act".






Earlier, the Chief Imam of Egbaland Sheik Saad Bamgbola in his sermon admonished the gathering that putting on worldly materials on Sallah day and not having a clear mind to fellow human being,is not Sallah, adding that  what Sallah entails is adhering and following the tenets and principles of Islam and that of Almighty Allah in the open and unseen.
