OGUN NUJ IFTAR: ALWAYS EXERCISE PATIENCE IN YOUR SUPPLICATIONS TO ALMIGHTY ALLAH,SHEIK KAMURA ADMONISHES JOURNALISTS, MUSLIMS ,OTHERS


 
















 The Chief Imam of Ogun State Secretariat Central Mosque Oke-Mosan, Sheik Abdulazees Kamura has enjoined all and sundry to always exercise patience in ones prayers to Almighty Allah, as it is through this that efficacy of  prayers would manifest.

Sheik Kamura stated this while nourishing  members of the Ogun State NUJ council, Muslims faithful and others present at  the maiden edition of the council 's Ramadan iftar with words from the Holy Quran.

At the event, held at the NUJ  Secretariat Hall, Iwe - Irohin, Oke- ilewo, Abeokuta on Wednesday, the Islamic cleric who delved on the topic: ISTIJABAR; The efficacy and Power of Prayers, added that Allah has not promised any living souls of life without challenges, as his prophets such as Prophets Musa, Isa, Ayuba, and Yunus all faced various challenges during their life time.

" Tell me, which of the prophets of Allah did not encounter challenges? As human being,we should always exercise patient on life challenges,as the inability to do so often hinders us from attaining our desired results, so, with prayers to Allah, exercise patient and the beneficent , the Merciful Allah will hearken to our prayers"

Quoting from the Holy Quran,:Surat Baqorah, chapter 2 verses 125, Sheik Kamura cited the lessons therein the Journey of Prophet Musa with a revered cleric, Khidr as points of references on the need to further seek for knowledge from other Godly sources .

"With Prayers and Patience; when you call on Almighty Allah with his glorious and adorable names, there is nothing you desire that you won't get from Allah in this month  and Night of blessings , there is need for us to be full of prayers, do good deeds and all what we asked for would  come to fruition "

The Chairman of the Ogun NUJ Council, Comrade Olawale Abdulquadri Olanrenwaju in his address, said that the need to go back  in supplication to God so as not to encounter past challenges faced by the council, the need to foster unity, among others prompted the organization of the 1444 first Ramadan iftar of the council.

In their summations of goodwill messages;  Ogun State Commissioner for Information and strategy, Alh. Waheed Odusile, Ogun NlC State chairman, Comrade Ahmed Benco, MMPN representative, Uztaz Daud Olatunji commended the council's executive members and the committee for taking the initiative, as this will further enhance spiritual growth and development of members of the council and as well foster unity and harmony among members.
