IMPRESSIVE TURNOUT AS HON.IYEPE, KAFIDIPE'S MOVIE, ORE ATATA( HE PROMISED US GIFTS) PREMIERES IN LAGOS

Ostra Halls and Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos, the venue of Orę Àtàtà (he promised us gifts), the second faith-based movie to be released by Nigerian actor and producer, Kabirah Kafidipe, was filled to capacity as hundreds of Muslim faithful graced the premiere.

Hon. AbdulLateef AbdulHakeem, Kabirah Kafidipe, Ibrahim Oluwarotimi and other members of the cast and crew joined Muslim News on the red carpet to discuss their new movie, Orę Àtàtà (he promised us gifts), which premiered on Monday, April 24, in Lagos.

When it was time for Salatul 'Asr, they all adjourned to obey Allah's call. This reminded us of the significance of Salat in the life of Muslims. It's also one of the thrusts of the film - there is nothing bigger than Salat. Like AbdurRaheem, the lead character succinctly captured it, "Whatever one is doing (even while at work/office), once we hear the call for Salat, we have to proceed to worship Allah."

Speaking with Muslim News,  Hon. AbdulLateef Abdulhakeem, who wrote the story said; "If taking excuses to use the restroom while having meetings is an exception, then, going for five times Salat should also be an exception. The moment you place Allah above all other things, He (Allah) will grant you success in all that you do. Let's pray at the right time. There is reward in not mincing words when it comes to standing for Allah.
